Mr. Orothers, from the Committee on Finance, reported with recommendation that it he referred to the Com- mittee on Library, the following resolution: Resolved, That the Legislature of the State of Mary- land, heartily approving this movement, hereby directs the State Librarian to donate to the Winnie Davis School of History a copy of each and every historical publica- tion issued by authority of the State of Maryland. Which was referred to the Committee on Library. Also, reported favorably, the following: ANNAPOLIS, MD., Jany. 17, 1900. Account of Eugene Worthington. Jany. 10. One rubber air cushion $2.50 Which report was adopted. Mr. Crothers, from the Committee on Finance, re- ported unfavorably, Senate bill No. 96, entitled "An Act. to add an addi- tional section to Article 77, of the Code of Public Gen- eral Laws, title ‘Public Education,' sub-title ‘Teachers,' to be known as ‘Section 53 A,' and to follow section 53.'" Mr. Williams, of Harford, moved that said bill be sub- 8tituted for the unfavorable report. Which motion was rejected by yeas and nays, as fol- lows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messsrs.
