On motion of Mr. Putzel,
Said Said bill was made the Special Order of the Day for
Wednesday, February 21st, at 1.40 P. M.

Mr. Crothers, from Committee on Finance, reported
favorably, with proposed amendments,
Senate bill No. 42, entitled "An Act to provide for a
State subscription to Perkias' Annotated Maryland Re-
ports, and for an appropriation therefor."
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

In section 1, strike out the word "65” and insert the
word "15," also, in section 1, strike out all between the
word "reports” in line 4 to, and including the word "re-
ports” in line 5, also, in section 1, strike out the word
"60” and insert the word "15," also, in section 1, strike
out the words "260” and insert the word "60," also, in
section 2, strike out all between the word "State," in line
No. 4, to, and including the word "Justice', in line No. 8.
Which proposed amendments were severally adopted,
and the bill was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
Mr. Crothers, from the Committee on Finance, reported
favorably, with proposed amendment, the following
order:
Ordered, That the sum of $83 be paid to Charles S.
Snook, of Frederick county, for attendance and mileage
while acting as Sergeant-At-Arms at the opening session
of the Senate, and pending the qualification of the pres-
ent Sergeant-at-Arms.
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Strike out the figures "83," and insert the figures "43."
