Amend by adding at the end, of "proposed amendment,"
"and to the provisions of all other general laws affecting
corporations."
Fending further consideration of which,
On motion of Mr. Moses,
Said bill, with propbsed amendments, was made the
Order of the l)ay for Monday, February 19th, at 8.45 P.
M.
Mr. Applegarth, from the Committee on Chesapeake
Bay and. Tributaries, reported favorably,
Senate bill No. 110, entitled "An Act to repeal and re-
enact with amendments section 6, of Article 72, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title ‘Oysters,' as the same
was re-enacted by chapter 380, of the Acts of 1894, and
by chapter 117, of the Acts of 1898."
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

By Mr. Baker,
At the end of section 1 add "provided that the pro-
visions of this Act shall not apply to Swan Point, Rock
Hall creek and Swan creek."
Which proposed amendment was adopted, and the bill
Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

REPORTS OF SELECT COMMITTEES.
Mr. Beasman, from Select Committee, reported fav-
orably,
House bill entitled "An Act to authorize and direct time
Board of County Commissioners of Carroll county to
erect and maintain boards to be printed and marked with
letters and figures so as to indicate the direction of and.
distance to the nearest town, city, village, postoffice,
turnpike or main road at the intersection of all county
roads in said county."
Which was read the second time.
