tions in ranks, transfers in and removals from the police
force of said city; said sections to follow section 745,
and to be designated as "Sections 745 A, 745 B, 745 C,
745 D, 745 E and 745 F."

A bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments sections 740 and 741, of Article 4 of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore,"
sub-tithe "Police Commissioners," as said sections were
enacted by chapter 123 of the Acts of 1898.
Which were severally read the first time, and referred
to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings, hereafter to
be appointed.

A bill entitled. an Act to repeal and re-enact, with
amendments, sections 112, 112 A, 112 B and 113, of
Article 2, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Anne
.&rundel County," sub-tithe "County Commissioners," so
as to provide for the increase of the number of County
Commissioners of Anne Arundel county from three to
seven, and for the appointment by the Governor of the
four County Commissioners to fill the vacancy caused by
this Act to serve until the next general election, and
providing for the termination of the terms of the County
Commissioners elected at the general election of 1897,
and the County Commissioners elected at time general
election of 1899.
Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committe,e on Election, hereafter to be appointed.

A bill entitled An Act tor epeal sections 740 and. 741 of
Article 4, Public Local Laws, entitled "City of Balti-
more," sub-title "Police Commissioners," as amended
and. re-enacted by chapter 123 of the Acts of 1.898, and.
to re-enact the same with amendments.
Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Judicial Proceedings, hereafter to be
appointed.
