Lemmon, a retired patrolman of the Pcflice Force of Baltimore city." Which was read the second time, and ordered to he engrossed for a third reading. Mr. Putzel, from a Select Committee, reported unfa- vorably, Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 668, of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title ‘City of Baltimore,' and to re-enact the same with amendments." Mr. Putzel moved that said bill be substituted for the unfavorable report. Which motion was rejected by yeas and nays, as fol- lows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. Baker, Messick, Dennis, Putzel, Dick, Ravenscroft, Dodson, Wilkinson Gray, Williams, of Har. Marsh, —11. NEGATIVE. Messrs. Applegarth, Kirwan, Beasman, Moore, Betts, Moses, Bouic, Peter, Brewington, Rohrback, Bryan, Williams, of A. A. Crothers, —13. And the said unfavorable report was adopted. Mr. Bryan, from Select Committee, reported favorably. Senate bill No. 50, entitled "An Act to repeal section 796, of Article 4, Public Local Laws, entitled ‘City of Baltimore,' sub-title ‘Street Railway Fares,' as amended and re-enacted by chapter 123, of the Acts of 1898, and re-enact the same with amendments." Which was read the second time, and ordered to be en- grossed for a third reading. |
