Pending further consideration of which
On motion of Mr. Bryan,
Said bill was made the special Order of the Day for
Thursday, February 15th, at 1 P. M.
Mr. Bouic, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
Senate bill No. 127, entitled "An Act to repeal section
32, of Article 81, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title ‘Revenue and Taxes,' sub-title ‘Collectors and Col-
lections,' so far as the same relates to Montgomery coun-
ty, and to add a new section to be known as ‘Section
226,' to Article 16, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title ‘Montgomery County,' sub-title ‘Taxes.''
Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.


The Secretary of State appeared and delivered a
message from the Executive.


The President distributed the following message
House bill No. 62, entitled "An Act to extend the
privileges, enlarge the powers and amend the charter of
the Jacob Tome Institute, a corporation incorporated
under the General Incorporation Laws of this State,
and whose charter was amended by an Act passed by the
General Assembly of Maryland, session of 1898, chapter
76."
Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays."
Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.
Also,
House bill entitled ".An Act to repeal chapter 615, of
the Acts of 1890, entitled an Act to amend Article 13, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled ‘Harford
County,' by adding additional sections thereto."
Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays."
Which was read the first time and referred to Senators
Williams, of Harford, Baker and Crothers.
