280 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 13

Mr. Bouic, from Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported with recommendation that said bill be referred
to the Committee on Finance,
Senate bill No. 91, entitled "An Act to repeal section
126, of Article 23, of the Public General Laws of Mary-
land, title ‘Corporations,' sub-tithe ‘Insurance Depart-
ment,' as amended by the Act of the General Assembly
of 1894, chapter 290, and re-enact the same, that is to
say, said section of said Article and said Act of 1894,
chapter 298, with amendments."
Which bill was referred to the Committee on Finance.

REPORTS OF SELECT COMMITTEES.
Mr. Moses, from Select Committee, reported favorably,.
with proposed amendments,
Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 623 and 625,
of Article 4, entitled ‘City of Baltimore,' of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, sub-title ‘Miscellaneous
Local Laws,' to re-enact said sections 623 and 625 with
amendments."
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
In the original bill substitute the word "twelve," in
place of the word "twenty," in section 623.
Also strike out "section 625."
Which proposed amendments were severally adopted,
and the bill
• Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.
Mr. Bryan, from Select Committee, reported favora-
bly, with proposed amendment,
Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments, sections 10, 37, 59, 77, 97 and 176, of
the Act of 1898, chapter 123, entitled ‘City of Baltimore,'
sub-title ‘Charter.'"
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Amend by inserting on page 3, after the words "storm
doors” the words "drains and drain pipes."
