Which was read the first time, and referred to the Committee on Finance. By Mr. Rohrback, A bill entitled "An Act to waive and releash all the liens of the State of Maryland. upon the corpus of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal, upon its tolls and reve- nues in favor of certain creditors of the Canal Com- pany." Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee on Finance. By Mr. Rohrback, A bill entitled "An Act supplementary to an Act for founding a College in Frederick, passed at a session of the General Assembly of Maryland, 1829, chapter 183, authorizing the establishment by the Board of Visitors of said College of a department of Pedagogy." Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee on Education. By Mr. Bryan, A bill entitled. "An Act to provide for the appointment of an indexer and cataloguer for the books in the State Library, and to appropriate a sum of money therefor." Which was read the first time, and referred to the Committee on Finance. By Mr. Dick, A bill entitled "An Act to provide for the completion and furnishing of the building of State Normal School No. 2, at Frosthurg, Allegany county, Maryland, and the maintenance of the same for the fiscal year 1900." Which was read the first time, and referred to the Committee on Finance. By Mr. Moses (by request), A bill entitled "An Act to provide for a State sub- scription to Thompson's Tables of Maryland Citations." |
