A bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments, section 6, of Article 72, of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws, title ‘Oysters,' as the same was re-en-
acted by chapter 380, of the Acts of 1894, and by chapter
117 of the Acts of 1898."
Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Chesapeake Bay and Tributaries.


REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.
Mr. Moore, from the Committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably, wih proposed amendment,
Senate bill No. 86, entitled "An Act to enlarge the
powers and privileges of the New York, Philadelphia &
Norfolk Railroad Company."
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Insert after the word "State," at the end of section 21,
the following: "That. may be leased or purchased and
operated by the said New York, Philadelphia & Norfolk
Railroad Company, as permitted under the provisions of
this Act."
Which proposed amendment was adopted.
FURTIIER AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

By Mr. Putzel,
Amend by striking out the words "privileges and im-
munities," on line 12 of section 1, and inserting the word
"and” between the words "franchises and rights," in said
line 12.
