Mr. Bouic, (by request),
A bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 18 and 19,
of the charter of Takoma Park, Maryland, and to re-
enact said sections 18 and 19."
Which was read the first time, and referred to Sena-
tors Bouic, Crothers and Williams, of Anne Arundel.


The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and re-
turned,
Senate bill No. 1, entitled "An Act to add certain new
sections to Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title ‘City of Baltimore,' sub-title ‘Police Commissioners,'
providing for the creation of a Board of Police Examiners
for the city of Baltimore, defining and prescribing the
duties thereof,and to regulate appointments to, promotion,
reduction in rank and transfers in and removals from the:
police force of said city, said sections to follow Section
745, and to be designated as ‘Sections 745 A, 745 B, 745
C, 745 D, 745 E, 745 F.'"
Endorsed: "Read the third time, and passed by yeas
and nays."
Also,
Senate bill No. 2, entitled "An Act to repeal with
amendments, sections 740 and 741, of Article 4, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title ‘City of Baltimere,' sub-
title ‘Police Commissioners,' as said sections were en-
acted by chapter 123, of the Acts of 1898."
Endorsed: "Read the third time, and passed by yeas
and nays."
Also,
Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 3, of
chapter 497, of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, session of 1898, entitled "An Act to authorize
and direct the County Commissioners of Anne Arundel
county to build a bridge over Curtis creek, and also to
build a bridge over Cabin branch, a tributary of said
Curtis creek, and to provide by the issuance of bonds the
means of building the same, and making said bridges
free for public travel."
Endorsed: "Read the third time, and passed by yeas
and nays." . -
