ORDERS.
On motion of Mr. Dick, it was
Ordered, That Senator Dodson be excused from at-
tendance at to-day's session.
On motion of Mr. Williams, of Anne Arundel, it was
Ordered, That John M. J. Hodges be paid the sum of
$20 for services rendered the Senate upon organization
January 3rd to 10th inclusive, eight days at $2.50, $20.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Finance.
INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.
By Mr. Dick,
A bill entitled "An Act to prohibit corporations from
compelling their employees to withdraw from member-
ship in Labor Organization incorporated under the laws
of this State."
Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Agriculture and Labor.
By Mr. Bouic,
A bill entitled "An Act to authorize the appointment
of a Justice of the Peace, who shall have jurisdiction in
and for the town of Takoma Park."
