PETITIONS. MEMORIALS AND OTHER PAPERS.
Mr. Dodson presented a petition from A. E. Welsh,
John R. Hughlett and 36 other citizens of Talbot county,
asking for the repeal of the Act of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, session of 1898, restricting net and
wire hedge to 700 yards from the shore line.
Which was read, and referred to Senators Dodson,
Kirwan and Applegarth.
Mr. Bryan presented a petition from Mrs. L. P. Ham-
mell, asking for the reduction in the price of gas in Bal-
timore city.
Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Corporations.
