Baltimore county, under the corporate name of ‘St. Jos-
eph's College of Baltimore County,' and which is on
record in the clerk's office of said Court, of date, October
6th, 1876, and recorded in Liber J. B., No. 1, folio 130, etc.,
one of the Incorporation Records of Baltimore county,
and also, an amended incorporation, under the general
provisions of the 26th Article of the Code by said Court,
by which amendment said corporate name was changed
to ‘Mt. St. Joseph's College of Baltimore County” and
which is also on record in the clerk's office of said Court
of date, June9th, 1881, and recorded in Liber J. B., No.
1, folio 297, etc., one of the incorporation records of Bal-
timore county."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.


JOINT RESOLUTIONS.
Mr. Williams, of Anne Arundel, offered the following:

Joint Resolutions requesting the Senators and Repre-
sentatives in Congress from the State of Maryland to
use all proper endeavors to have the authorities of the
United States deed and convey to the State of Maryland
the Naval Hospital Building, located on the Government
farm, adjoining the Naval Academy grounds, near An-
napolis.

Whereas, the United States Naval authorities have
erected on the "Government farm,' adjoining the Naval
Academy grounds at Annapolis, a hospital building,
which building has not been used for any purpose for a
number of years, and is consequently falling to decay,
and

Whereas, the State of Maryland is desirous of acquir-
ing a similar building for the purpose of establishing and
maintaining a normal and industrial school for colored
ehildren, therefore,

Be it resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Senators and Representatives in Congress from
the State of Maryland be and they hereby are requested
to use all proper efforts to have the United States authori-
ties grant and convey to the State of Maryland the
