Marsh, Mr. Williams, of Harford, submitted the following message BY THE SENATE, April 2nd, 1900. Gentlemen of the House of Delegates: The Senate having refused to concur in the amend- ment by your Body to the Senate bill, printed No. 243, offered by Mr. Brewington, we respectfully request your body to recede from said amendment, and we herewith return said bill. By order, ALFRED RITTER, Secretary. Which was read, assented to, and sent to the House of Delegates. The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and de- livered the following message: BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES, April 2, 1900. Gentlemen of the Senate: The House of Delegates having refused to adopt the report of the Joint Conference Committee on amend- ments to House bill, (printed No. 497), being "An Act to appropriate certain sums of money to sundry charitable institutions, known as the ‘Omnibus Appropriation Bill.' We respectfully propose, with the concurrence of your Honorable Body, a Joint Committee of Conference on the disagreeing votes of the two Houses, and herewith re- turn said bill. We have named as conferees on the part of the House, Messrs. Sanford, Lehmeyer and Stewart. By order, B. L. SMITH. Which was read. Chief Clerk. |
