1900.] OF THE SENATE. 1471 of Medical Examiners and to regulate the fees and emoluments thereof, to prevent the practice of medicine and surgery by unauthorized persons, and to provide for the trial and punishment of violators of the provisions of this Act by a fine or imprisonment, or both, and to re- peal and re-enact with additions and amendments see- tions 39, 40, 41, 45, 49, 53, 56, 58 and 59, of Article 43, of the Code of Public General Laws, title ‘Health,' sub- title ‘Practitioners of Medicine,' and to repeal all laws or parts of laws in conflict or inconsistent with this Act, and to add additional sections thereto to be designated as ‘Sections 39, 40, 41, 43, 49, 53, 50, 58 and 59.'" Endorsed: "Amended, read the third time and passed by yeas and nays." AMENDMENT PROPOSED After the word "State” in section 49, line 6, insert "or to opticans in the sale of glasses or spectacles."
