By Mr. Dick, Strike out in section 40, all of line 5, printed bill, down to and including the word "parties," and at the end of the sentence in line 11, and insert as follows: "At the general election to be held in the city of Bal- timore, on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November, in the year 1901, there shall be elected three sober and discreet persons, who shall have been resi- dents in the city of Baltimore for three consecutive years next preceding the date of their appointment, who shall be known as the ‘Board of Police Commissioners for the city of Baltimore.'
