Mr. Crothers, from Committee on Finance, reported favorably, the following order: Ordered, That Win. J. C. Dulany Company, State Printers, be paid the sum of $7.50 for printing 500 yea and nay lists, said sum to he taken out of the appropri- ation for printing for this session. Which was adopted. Also favorably, with proposed amendment, time follow- ing order: Ordered, That John B. McCusker receive the same compensation as the additional engrossing clerks ap- pointed at the last session of time Legislature, for services rendered to the Engrossing Committee of that Body, for which he received no compensation. AMENDMENT PROPOSED Strike out the words "same con pens tion" as time addi- tional Engrossing Clerks amid in lieu thereof insert "$25." Which was adopted Also favorably, with proposed amendment, the follow- ing order: Ordered, That the sum of $25 be paid to Wm. F. Har- per, postmaster, and John Bitner, keeper of time cloak- room, for services to be rendered after time Senate ad- journs. AMENDMENT PROPOSED. "Ordered, That William L. Harper, postmaster, and John Bitner, keeper of the cloak-room, be each paid the sum of $10 for services to be rendered after adjourment of Senate," Which proposed amendment was adopted, and The order was adopted. |
