1318 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Apr. 2 Second amendment. In section 1, line 14, after the word "it," strike out all of the remainder of said section and insert the following: "The office of this corporation shall he located in Baltimore city, Maryland." Which amendments were adopted, and The bill read the second time. Mr. Peter, from Committee on Corporations, reported House bill entitled "An Act to give all wages due and owing to any employee for services rendered to any rail- way company operating in the State of Maryland, priority to all other claims." With recommendation that said bill be referred. to Com- mittee on Judiciary, Which was so referred. Also favorably, with amendments, House bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the American Trust and Investment Company." ANENDMENTS PROPOSED Add an additional section after section 17, to be known as "Section 17 A," so as to read as follows: "Sec. 17 A. Provided that said corporation shall be subject at all times to the provisions of the Acts of 1892, chapters 109 and 279, or amendments or supplements thereto." In section 1, line 17, strike out all of said section after the word "it," and insert after the word "it” the follow- ing: "The office of this corporation shall be located in Balti- more city, Maryland." Which proposed amendments were severally adopted, and The bill was read the second time. Mr. Peter. from Committee on Corporations, reported unfavorably, House bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the Balti- more Industrial Power and Railway Company." Which report was adopted. Also favorably, House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments section 8 of chapter 419, of the Acts |
