1900.] OF THE SENATE. 1317 Ordered, That John B. Flood be paid the sum of $45 for ice furnished the Senate for this session. Which was adopted. Also favorably, Ordered, That James W. Owens be paid the sum of $50 for the Senate's share for clerical and professional services rendered the Joint Committee on Chesapeake Bay and Tributaries, in drawing and preparing their bills. Which was adopted. Also favorably, Ordered, That James W. Owens be paid the sum of $50 for services rendered the Finance Committee of the Senate in drawing and preparing bills for introduction. Which was adopted. Also, favorably, with proposed amendment, Ordered, That the Committee on Claims pay Mrs. Anna Killman, the sum of $50 for services rendered Senate during present session for washing towis. AMEN DMENT PROPOSED. Strike out "$50” and insert "$25." Which proposed amendment was adopted, and The order as amended, was adopted. Also, favorably, Ordered, That J. Boyd Dexter be paid the sum of $67 for services rendered and material furnished said State Senate as per bill. Which was adopted. Mr. Peter, from Committee on Corporations, reported favorably with proposed amendments, House bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the People's Trust Company of Maryland." AMENDMENTS PROPOSED. First amendment. After section 12 add an additional section to be known as ‘Section 12 A.' Section 12 A. "Provided, That said corporation shall be subject at all times to the provisions of the Acts of 1892, chapters 109 and 279 or amendments or supple- ments thereto." |
