Also, favorably, House bill entitled "An Act supplemental to chapter 219 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1856, entitled ‘An Act for -founding a college at Chester- town." Which was read the second time. Mr. Bryan, from Committee on Militia, reported un- favorably, Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 31, 32, 34 and 36 of Ar- ticle 65 of the Code of Public General Laws, title ‘Militia,' as re-enacted by chapter 89 of the Acts of As- sembly of 1896, and to re-enact the same with amend- ments, and to add additional sections to said Article 65, Code of Public General Laws, title ‘Militia,' as re-enacted by chapter 89 of the Acts of Assembly of 1896, and by this Act to be known and designated as ‘Sections 44 A, 50. 51, 52 and 53.'" Which report was adopted. Mr. Bryan, from Committee on Game and Fish, re- ported unfavorably, House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments section 3, of Article 99, of the Code of Pub- lic General Laws, title ‘Wild Fowl, Birds and Game,' as amended by chapter 239 of the Acts of 1890." Which report was adopted. Also favorably, House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 116, of Article 21, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title ‘Talbot County,' sub-title ‘Fish,' and to re-enact the same with amendments, and to add thereto additional sections, sub-- title ‘Terrapin and Crabs.'" Which was read the second time. Also favorab]y, House bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 27 and 28, of Article 6, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title ‘Caroline County,' sub-title ‘Birds and Game,' and to re- enact the same with amendments." Which was read the second time. |
