By Mr. Crothers, A bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 119, of Arti- cle 8, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title ‘Cecil County,' sub-title ‘County Treasurer,' and to re-enact the same with amendments." Which was read the first time, and referred to Senators Crothers, Williams, of Anne Arundel, and Moore. By Mr. Crothers. A bill entitled "An Act to repeal chapter 420, of the Acts of 1894, entitled ‘An Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments, chapter 470, of the Acts of the Gen- eral Assembly of Maryland, passed at its January sess- ion 1892, entitled ‘An Act to promote, encourage and foster agriculture in the State, and to appropriate a sum of money therefor." Which was read the first time, and referred to the Committee on Finance. By Mr. Bryan, A bill entitled "An Act to authorize the Board of Police Commissioners of Baltimore city, to increase the pension of William T. Lemmon, a retired patrolman of the Police Force of Baltimore city." Which was read the first time, and referred to Sena- tors Bryan, Moses and Putzel. By Mr. Williams, of Anne Arundel, A bill entitled "An Act to provide for the paving of the driveway around State Circle and centain streets surrounding the Executive Mansion in the City of An- napolis, by the State of Maryland, and the Mayor, Coun- sellor and Aldermen, of the City of Annapolis." Which was read the first time, and referred to the Committee on Finance. By Mr. Dodson, (by request), A bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 7 and 12, of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, of 1886, chapter 309, entitled ‘An Act to incorporate the Inter- national Trust Company of Maryland, and to re-enact the same with amendments.'" |
