Which proposed amendment was adopted, and The bill was read the second time. Also, without recommendation, Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal that portion of the Act of Assembly, of 1892, chapter 200, which reads as follows; provided, however, that nothing contained in this Apt shall be deemed or taken to modify or change in any manner the provisions of Ordinance No. 41 of the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, approved May 9th, 1889, or the rights and privileges granted thereby, to the com- panies therein named, or either of them, and to repeal that portion of section 1 of chapter 123 of the Acts of Assembly of 1898, sub-division 6, entitled 'General Pow- ers,' sub-title ‘Streets, Bridges and Highways' which reads as follows: "Provided, however, that nothing con- tained in this Article shall be deemed or taken to modi- fy or change in any manner the provisions of Ordinance No. 41 of the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, ap- proved May 9, 1889, or the rights and privileges granted thereby to the companies therein named or either of them." Mr. Moses moved to substitute the bill for said report. Mr. Williams, of Harford, moved that further consid- eration of said motion be indefinitely postponed.
