1900.] OF THE SENATE. 1175 On motion of Mr. Crothers, Said bill was made the Special Order of the Day, for Friday, March 30th, at 8.30 P. M. Also, House bill entitled "An Act making appropriations for support of the State Government, for the fiscal year ending on September 30th, 1902." Mr. Crothers moved that the Rules be suspended, and that the reference of said bill be dispensed with. The Rules were suspended, (two.thirds of the Sena- tors voting in the affirmative), by yeas and nays as fol- lows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Marsh, Baker, Messick, Betts, Moore, Bouic, Moses, Brewington, Peter. Bryan, Rohrback, Crothers, Wilkinson, Dennis, Williams, of Har., Dodson, Williams, of A. A., —18. NEGATIVE—None. Pending further consideration of which, On motion of Mr. Crothers, Said bill was made the Special Order of the Day for Friday, March 30th, at 9 P. M. Also, House bill entitled "An Act to appropriate certain sums of money to the support of sundry Schools and Charitable Institutions in the State of Maryland, for each of the two fiscal years ending on the 30th day of Sep- tember, 1901, and on the 30th day of September, 1902, respectively." Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas and nays Which was read the first time and referred to the Com- mittee on Finance. |
