Mr. Williams, of Anne Arundel. submitted the follow-
ing message:
BY THE SENATE,
March 30th, 1900.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:
We have received your message requesting the return
to your Honorable Body of Senate bill No. 245, entitled
"An Act to amend the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Anne Arundel County,' sub-title ‘Stock and Swine,' and
herewith return said bill.
By order,
ALFRED RITTER,

Secretary.
Which was read, assented to and sent to the House of
Delegates.


The President distributed the following message from
the House of Delegates.
House bill entitled "An Act making appropriation for
the support of the State Government for the fiscal year
ending on September 30th, 1901."
Mr. Crothers moved that the Rules be suspended and
the reference of said bill be dispensed with.
The rules were suspended (two-thirds of the Senators
voting in the affimative), by yeas and nays as follows:
