Mr. Crothers submitted the following message:

BY THE SENATE,

January 3rd, 1900.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:
We have received your message notifying this Senate
of the organization of your Honorable Body and request-
ing the appointment of a Joint Committee to wait on the
Governor, and inform him that the General Assembly is
now prepared to receive any communication which he
may desire to make; this Senate having been organizcd
by the election of Hon. John Hubner as President and
Alfred Hitter as Secretary; we respectfully concur in
your message.
We have appointed on the part of the Senate Messrs.
Crothers and Williams, of Harford.

Secretary.
