without recommendation,

Senate bill No. 226, entitled "An Act to repeal sec-
tions 232 A and 232 F, of Article 23, of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws of Maryland, title ‘Corporations,' sub-
title ‘Telegraph and Telephone Companies,' as enacted
by the Act of 1892, chapter 387, and the Act of 1894,
chapter 207, respectively, and to re-enact said section
232 A, with amendments."
Which was read the second time, and
On motion of Mr. Wilkinson,
Said bill was made the Special Order of the Day for
Wednesday, March 28th, at 830 P. M.
Also unfavorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to provide for the proper
and effectual service of gas in that portion of the city,
known as ‘The Annex.'"
On motion of Mr. Moses,
Said bill was referred to Senators Bryan, Moses and
Putzel.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to incorporate a society
called Knights of Babylon, of Germantown, Worcester
county, Maryland."
Which was read the second time.

House bill entitled "An Act to amend an Act of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at January Ses-
sion, 1865, chapter 172, entitled an Act to incorporate
the Warren Manufacturing Company of Baltimore
county."
