Time bill was read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.
Also, unfavorably,
Senate bill No. 147, entitled "An Act to repeal section
1, of Article 24, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
‘Costs,' and to re-enact the same with amendments."
Which unfavorable report was adopted.
Also unfavorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to authorize the treasurer
to pay the sum of $800 annually to the School Commis-
sioners of Frederick county, to assist in maintaining high
schools in said county, and to authorize the visitors of
Frederick College in said county, to turn over to said
School Commissioners the buildings and grounds of said
college for the use of the public schools of said county,
and also to repeal so much of the Act of 1898, chapter
107, as directs the payment of the sum of $800 annually
to the visitors of the Frederick county school."
Which report was adopted.
Also, favorable, with recommendation that said bill be
referred to Select Committee,
House bill entitled "An Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Montgomery county to furnish anti-
Toxine to indigent patients."
Which was referred to Senators Bouic, Williams, of
Anne Arundel, and Williams, of Harford.
Also, unfavorably.
House bill entitled "An Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay balance due Richard Knox for services
rendered as Chief Engineer of the State Steamer Gover-
nor F. Thomas."
Which report was adopted.
Also, favorably, with proposed amendment,
House bill entitled "An Act to properly care for, ex-
hibit and preserve the battle flags carried by Maryland
Regiments during the Civil War, 1861-5."
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In line 1, of section 4, of the original bill, strike out
the words "twenty-five” and insert in lieu theoreof the
word "fifteen." S
