Mr. Latrobe, from Committee on Ways and Means, re-
ported unfavorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to pay the claim of Wm.
J. Kelly, late State Wharfinger, for his compensation of
one-fifth the rent of the wharf known as 'Pier and Light
street in the city of Baltimore. ' "

Which unfavorable report was adopted.

Mr. Truitt, from Committee on Railroads and Canals,
reported unfavorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to add a new section to
Article 23, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
'Corporations, ' sub-title 'Railroads, ' to follow section 177,
and to be designated as 'Section 177 A. '

Which unfavorable report was adopted.

ported unfavorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to appropriate a sum of
money for the purpose of providing for the erection of a
suitable monument or tablet in the United States Nat-
ional Cemetery of Winchester, Virginia, to the memory
of Maryland soldiers who lost their lives in defending
the Union at Harristown, Harper's Ferry, Charles Town,
Berryville, Winchester, Kerstown, Fisher's Hill and
Cedar Creek. "

Which unfavorable report was adopted.

Mr. Lehmayer, from Judiciary Committee, reported
favorably, with proposed amendments,

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 201, 202r
203, 204, 205 and 206, of Article 27, of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws, entitled 'Crimes and Punishments, ' sub-
tile 'Minereal Waters, Porter and other Beverages, ' as
repealed and re-enacted with amendments, by chapter
262, of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland,
of 1892, and to add to said title and sub-title three new
sections, one to immediately follow section 205, and to
be known as 'Section 205 A, ' and the other two to im-
mediately follow section 206, and to be known respec-
tively, as -Section 206 A, and 206 B. "

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED BY JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
