On motion of Mr. Siegmund,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Elections to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 274
to 278, both inclusive, of Article 4, of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title 'City of Baltimore, ' sub-title 'Primary
Elections, ' and as the same were amended and re-enacted
by the Act of 1892, chapter 238, to repeal the sections of
the Code of Public Local Laws, Article 3, entitled 'Balti-
more County, ' which under the title 'Primary Elections, '
were enacted by the Act of 1892, chapter 261, to repeal
chapter 548, of the Acts of 1892, to repeal sections 402
to 425, inclusive, of Article 4, of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, entitled 'City of Baltimore, '
sub-title 'Primary Elections, ' as repealed, amended and
re-enacted by the Acts of 1898, chapter 123, and to re-
peal sections 15, 16 and 112, of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws, title 'Elections, ' Article 33, as the same were
amended and re-enacted by the Acts of 1896, chapter 202,
and to re-enact the said sections 15, 16 and 112, with
amendments, and to add a new section to said Article,
under the sub-title 'Intermediate Registration, ' to be
known as 'Section 30 A, ' to come in immediately after
section 30, and to add fifteen new sections to the said
Article; the said new sections to be added to constitute a
new sub-title of said Article, which sub-title shall be
known as 'Primary Elections, ' and which sub-title and
its constituent sections shall follow after section 151, of
such Article, and be known as 'Sections 152, 153, 154,
155, 156, 157, 158, 159, 160, 161, 162, 163, 164, 165, 166
and 167, respectively. "
On motion of Mr. Lakin,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Education to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to provide for the pub-
lication by the State Board of Public Works, of large
scale geographical and physical maps of Maryland for
the use of the public schools of the State, and to make
an appropriation therefor.

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act granting and declar-
ing the sanction and confirmation of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland to the bequest made by and contained
