On motion of Mr. Sandman,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to amend the charter
of the Loudon Park Cemetery, so as to enable it to ac-
quire land in addition to the quantity it now holds. "
On motion of Mr. Ditty,
Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel county dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to amend an
Act entitled an Act to incorporate the town of Arundel-
on-the-Bay, Maryland, approved April 9th, 1898. "
On motion of Mr. Sandman,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to appropriate
the sum of $3, 000 annually toward the support of St.
Joseph's House of Industry of Baltimore. "
On motion of Mr. Walsh,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the
Birnie Trust Company, Taneytown, Carroll county. "
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Temperance
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments sections 4, 5, 8 and 9, of chapter 6,
Laws of 1894, entitled 'An Act to repeal chapter 423,
Laws of 1892, ' entitled 'An Act to regulate the sale and
granting of license for the sale of spirituous and fer-
mented liquors in Carroll county, and to re-enact the
same with amendments. "
On motion of Mr. Biggs,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary, to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 88 of
Article 75, of the Code of Public General Laws, relating
to 'Pleadings, Practice and Process, ' as amended by
chapter 504 of the Acts of 1886, and to re-enact the same
as amended. "
On motion of Mr. Sandman,
Leave was granted to the Judiciary Committee to in-
troduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments, section 9, of Article 24, of the Code of
Public General Laws, title 'Costs. ' "
