designated 'Sections 203 A to section 203 of Article 10,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title 'Dorchester
County, ' sub-title 'Justices of the Peace. ' "

Mr. Choate, from Select Committee, reported unfavor-
ably,
House bill entitled "An Act to divide the Ninth Elec-
tion District of Baltimore county, into two election dis-
tricts, to be known as the 'Ninth Election District of
Baltimore county. ' and the 'Sixteenth Election district of
Baltimore county, ' and to constitute said division into
election districts of Baltimore county. "
Which unfavorable report was adopted.
Mr. Smith, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 13, of Article 99, of the Code of
Public General Laws, title 'Wild Fowl, Birds and Game, '
and all other laws inconsistent with the provisions of this
Act, in so far as they relate to the killing, catching or
having in possession birds and game in Queen Anne's
county. "

REPORTS OF COMMITTEES.
The Investigating Committee made the following
REPORT:
The committee appointed by order of the House to in-
vestigate charge of corruption in regard to the business
of this session, respectfully report that on Wednesday,
March 14th, the committee met and examined into the
charges made by the Mayor of Baltimore city and pub-
lished in an interview in the Baltimore Sun of March
9th, and into subsequent charges made in various news-
papers in Baltimore in regard to the bill now pending
before the House, known as the "Telephone Bill, " in re-
gard to the use of money to influence legislation. In
this examination we have taken the testimony of Thomas
