gineer to the Electrical Commission; John Real, a mem-
ber of this House; William Duncan, a member of this
House; Samuel H. Hoffacker, a member of this House
and Joseph M. Zamoiske, under oath, and have filed a
copy of the testimony with the Speaker of the House.
Other witnesses have been named to the committee and
have been ordered summoned to appeal on Monday next,
March 19th, to testify before the committee and their
testimony will be added to and submitted to the House
with that already taken.

House bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the town of
Secretary in Dorchester county. "

Which was read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments certain sections of the charter of the
town of Smithsburg, in Washington county. "

Which was read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled "An Act to provide for the con-
struction of a new reservoir or the rebuilding of the old
reservoir belonging to the water works of the town of
Frostburg, in Allegany county, and to authorize the
Mayor and Councilman of said town to issue bonds to
pay the costs thereof. "

Which was read a second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 21 of Art-
icle 77 of the Code of Public General Laws, title 'Public
Education, ' sub-title 'School Commissioners, ' and to re-
enact the same with amendments. "

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In line 11 stroke out the words; 'soft coal, known as
'Cumberland coal, '" and insert the words "bituminous
coal, except in lump form. "
