On motion of Mr. Collins,

Leave was granted to the Talbot county delegation to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 31,
32, 33, 36, 37, 42, 44, 45, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 67, 68 and 82,
of Article 81, of the Code of Public General Laws; of
Maryland, title 'Revenue and Taxes, ' so far as the same
relates to Talbot county; and to repeal sections 32, 33,
and 34, of Article 21, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title 'Talbot County, ' sub-title 'County Commissioners, '
and to enact the following sections in lieu thereof, pro-
viding1 for the election of a County Treasurer for Talbot
county, and defining the duties and powers of said treas-
urer. "

On motion of Mr. Latrobe.

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to declare the sanction
and consent of the General Assembly of Maryland, to the
sale and grant and deed by Emily M. Jenkins, Charles
Taylor Jenkins, her husband, to the vestry of the Church
of St. Michaels and All Angels, a religious corporation,
for the use and benefit of said corporation as hereinafter
named. "

On motion of Mr. Graeff,

Leave was granted to the Allegany county delegation
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-en-
act with amendments, section 46 B, of Article 1, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title 'Allegany County, ' sub-
title 'Cumberland, ' as said section was re-enacted by
chapter 324 of the Acts of 1898. "

On motion of Mr. Collins,

Leave was granted to the Talbot county delegation to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to authorize and em-
power the Commissioners of Easton to execute a deed or
deeds of release to the Avon Hotel Company of Talbot
county and John Mason, respectively, of so much of the
lots enclosed by them respectively, as was formerly cov-
ered by an alley running north from Dover street as a
continuation of Talbot Lane, in exchange for another par-
cel of land to be used for a public alley. "
