On motion of Mr. Andrews,
Leave was granted to the Dorchester county delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to authorize the
county commissioners of Dorchester county, to borrow
money on the credit of the county, for the purpose of
constructing a bridge across the north west part of the
Nancticoke river, in said county. "
On motion of Mr. Knott,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means, to introduce a bill to amend the Act passed by
the General Assembly of Maryland, at the Session of
1888, chapter 183, and amended by the Act of 1892, chap-
ter 562, entitled "Maryland Asylum and Training School
for the Feeble Minded. "
On motion of Mr. Curtis,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary, to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to make all ground rents
and other charges on land hereafter created in the State
of Maryland, subjects for taxation, and to do away with
certain covenants in leases and other instruments of con-
veyance hereafter executed in this State. "
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary, to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to take away the rem-
edy of distress for ground rents in Baltimore city in cer-
tain cases. "
On motion of Mr. Latrobe,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to appropriate
the sum of one thousand dollars to the support of the
Aged Men and Women's Home of the Methodist Episco-
pal Churches of the Washington Annual Conference of
Baltimore city. "
On motion of Mr. Staley,
Leave was granted to the Washington county delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to authorize and
empower the Burgess and Commissioners of Williams-
port, in Washington county, to redeem each and all of
the bonds issued by them under the provisions of chap-
ter 27 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland,
