On motion of Mr. Feldmeyer,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to in-
troduce a bill to refund to Alfred Ijams, money paid into
the State Treasury erroneously.

On motion of Mr. Scrimger,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary, to
introduce a bill entitle I "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments Article 29 of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws, title 'Interest and Usury. ' "

Also,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims, to in-
troduce a bill entitled 'An Act to refund to Henry B, and
Francis A. Cooper, Executors of Edward H. Cooper, of
Baltimore city, a certain amount of collateral inheritance
tax paid in error to the Register of Wills of Baltimore
city, and by him paid to the State of Maryland. "

On motion of Mr. Mann,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to authorize the Gov-
ernor to appoint five additional Notaries Public in. Balti-
more county. "

On motion of Mr. Latrobe,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to appropriate
a sum of money to the home for the training of destitute
colored children of Baltimore city. "

On motion of Mr. Sandman,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to amend the charter
of the Catonsville Water Company. "

On motion of Mr. Buckey,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the
Frederick Trust and Deposit Company. "

On motion of Mr. Latrobe,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to appropriate
one thousand dollars to the support of the Maryland
Home for Friendless Colored Children of Baltimore. "
