Mr. Staley, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably.

House bill entitled "An Act to authorize and direct the
County Commissioners of Washington county, to refund
to Abraham Corbett, of said county, a certain sum of
money for taxes erroneously paid to said County Com-
missioners by him. "

Mr. Sandman, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

A bill entitled "An Act to prohibit the county Com-
missioners of Baltimore county, from spending or appro-
priating any greater sums of money than they shall have
levied upon the the taxable basis of said county for the
current expenses of said county for the ensuing year for
which said levy is made. "

Mr. Smith, from Select Committee, reported favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Queen Anne's county to grant a pen-
sion not exceeding $50 to Lewis H. Porter of said county,
and levy on the assessable property of said county for
the same. "

Mr. Collins, from Committee on Claims reported fav-
orably,

House bill entitled "An Act to refund to Achilles Ford,
brother of William G. Ford, late of Baltimore city, de-
ceased, a sum of money erroneously paid as collateral in-
heritance tax by him to Stephen R. Mason, Register of
Wills of Baltimore city, on the estate of said William
G. Ford, deceased, and which sum of money covered into
the State Treasury by said Register of Wills, less 25 per
centum commission retained by him. "

ably,

House bill entitled "An Act to provide for the pay-
ment of jurors, witnesses, bailiffs, messengers and criers
for the Circuit Court for Calvert county, and to authorize
