On motion of Mr. Pattison,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to in-
troduce a bill entitled "An Act to refund to Wm. Wood-
land certain money paid by him to the Comptroller,
through Charles Lake, Clerk of the Circuit Court for Dor-
chester county, in the year 1895, for oyster packer's li-
censes. "
On motion of Mr. Choate,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the
Baltimore County and City Railway Company. "
On motion of Mr. Scrimger,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to protect physicians
from being compelled to disclose communications made
to them by patients in any legal proceeding in the State
of Maryland. "
'On motion of Mr. Contee, (by request),
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to add a new
section to Article 56, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title 'Licenses, ' sub-title 'Traders, ' -to follow section 49,
and to be designated as 'Section 49 A, ' and to repeal sec-
tions 56 to 66. inclusive, sub-title 'Spirituous or Fer-
mented Liquors, ' and to re-enact sections 55 and 56, and
to repeal sections 68 to 81, inclusive, sub-title 'Ordinary
Keepers, ' and to re-enact section 68 with amendments,
and to repeal sections 82, 83, 84 and 85, sub-title 'Penal-
ties, ' and to re-enact with amendments sections 82, 83
and 84. "
On motion of Mr. Duncan,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to incorporate 'The
Maryland Sanitary Refrigerating Ventilating and Heat-
ing Company. "
On motion of Mr. Walbach,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Inspections to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 6, of
Article 6i, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
Manures and Fertilizers, ' as amended by chapter 397, of
the Acts of 1894, and to re-enact same with amendments. '
