On motion of Mr. Waters,
Leave was granted to the Frederick county delegation
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to add an additional
section to Article 11, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title "Frederick County, " sub-title 'Bridges, ' said new
section to follow section 61 of said Article, and to be
designated as 'Section 61 A. '"
On motion of Mr. Lancaster,
Leave was granted to the Charles county delegation to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to regulate the time of
taking oysters by the citizens of Charles county in the
waters of the Wicomico river. "
On motion of Mr. Walsh,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to amend Article 81
of the Code of Public General Laws, title 'Revenue and
Taxes, ' as amended by chapter 120 of the Acts of 1896,
by adding a new section thereto, to be designated 'Sec-
tion 146 G, ' to follow section 146 F, in relation to tele-
phone companies which do not earn dividends. "
On motion of Mr. Lancaster,
Leave was granted to the Charles and St. Mary's
county delegations to introduce a bill entitled ': An Act
to amend and re-enact section 1, chapter 198, of the Act
of 1872, entitled an Act for the protection of and to reg-
ulate the time and manner of catching and taking fish
and terrapins in that portion of the Potomac river be-
tween Maryland Point in Charles county and Chieldim
Island in St. Mary's county. "
On motion of Mr. Simmons,
Leave was granted to the Calvert county delegation
and to Mr. Collins, to introduce a bill entitled "An Act
to provide for the payment of 'Jurors, Witnesses, Bailiffs,
Messengers and Criers, ' for the Circuit Court for Calvert
county, and to authorize and direct the County Commis-
sioners of Calvert county to borrow money for the pur-.
pose to issue bonds for the payment of same, and to levy
taxes on the assessable property in said county to redeem
said bonds and to pay the interest thereon. "
