The Joint Committee appointed by the Senate and
House of Delegates to notify Hon. Murray Vandiver of
his election as Treasurer, respectfully report that they
have communicated with Mr. Vandiver and have received
from him the following reply:

The office of State Treasurer, to which you notify me
