known as the 'Amended Charter to the Town of Oakland, '
granting to the Mayor and Town Council of Oakland,
additional powers to operate an electric light plant, or to
contract for the operation of the same, and to grant fran-
chises to corporations or individuals within the corporate
limits of the town of Oakland, and to be known as 'Sec-
tions 196 A, 196 B and 196 C. '"

Mr. Feldmeyer, from Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to authorize and direct the
School Commissioners of Anne Arundel county to appro-
priate a sum of money for the purchase of a site and the
erection of a school house for white children near Lo-
thian in Anne Arundel county. "

Also, favorably,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Anne Arundel county to construct a
draw in the bridge over Long Cove, in Anne Arundel
county, and to provide by taxation for the cost of the
same. "

ably,

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendment sections 35 and 36 of Article 10, Public Lo-
cal Laws, title 'Dorchester County, ' sub-title 'Birds and
Game, ' to be known as 'Sections 1 and 2. '"

ably,

House bill entitled "An Act to divide the Third Elec-
tion District of St. Mary's county into two precincts, to
