On motion of Mr. Waters,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Education to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
section 81, of Article 77, of the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland, title 'Public Education, ' sub-title
'Teacher's Institutes' and re-enact the same with amend-
ments. "

On motion of Mr. Norris, of Carroll, (by request).
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act granting the sanction
of the General Assembly of Maryland to certain bequests
contained in the last will and testament of Saml. Hoff-
man, late of Carroll county, Maryland. "

On motion of Mr. Truitt, of Worcester,
Leave was granted to the Worcester county delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal sec-
tions 49 and 56, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
'Worcester County, ' sub-title 'Birds and Game, ' and to
re-enact the same with amendments. '"

On motion of Mr. Graeff,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Education to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to add four additional
sections to Article 1, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title 'Allegany County, ' sub-title 'Public Education. '

On motion of Mr. Foster,

LeaA^e was granted to the Harford county delegation
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to amend the charter
of the city of Havre de Grace.

On motion of Mr. Stewart,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to provide for the ap-
pointment of a board of commissioners, to be known as
'Commissioners for the revision of the laws of the State
of Maryland relating to State banks, savings banks, fidel-
ity and trust companies and building and loan associa-
tions, and to define the duties of said board. '"

On motion of Mr. Mencke,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore city delegation to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to authorize the Board
