On motion of Mr. Linthicum,
Leave was granted to the Dorchester county delega-
tion to introduce a bill authorizing and empowering
Junius M. Baker to construct a wharf in front of his
property in Dorchester county. "
On motion of Mr. Martenet,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled ''An Act to provide for the
proper and effectual service of gas in that portion of Bal-
timore city, heretofore known as 'The Annex. ' "
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Temperance
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act prohibiting the free
lunch system in the saloons and restaurants of the city
of Baltimore. "
On motion of Mr. Waller,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to amend Article 21,
of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title
'Conveyancing, ' by adding a new sub-title to be designa-
ted 'Conveyancers, ' of five new sections, to be designated
'Sections 88 B, 88 C, 88 D, 88 E and 88 F, ' to come in
after section 88 A, of said Article. "
On motion of Mr. Proctor,
Leave was granted to the Harford county delegation
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections
254, 255 and 256, of Article 13, of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title 'Harford County, ' sub-title 'State's At-
torney, ' and to re-enact in lieu thereof the following sec-
tion, to be known as 'Sections 254 and 255. ' "
On motion of Mr. Bramble,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore city delegation
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to authorize the
Board of Police Commissioners of Baltimore city, to in-
crease the pension of Charles N. Selvage, a retired
policeman of the police force of Baltimore city. "
