On motion of Mr. Graeff,

Leave was. granted to the Committee on W. ays and
Means to introduce a bill entitled "An Act for the relief
of the Home of the Infirmary of Western Maryland in the
City of Cumberland. "

On motion of Mr. Duncan,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to in-
troduce a bill entitled "An Act to appropriate to Dr. J.
Fussell Martenet, State Vaccine Agent, a sum of money
expended for the needs of his office in excess of the ap-
propriation for that department. "

The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message:

Public General Laws, entitled 'Official Oaths, ' regulating

scribed to district school trustees, so far as the same re-
lates to Washington county, as said section was re-en-
acted by chapter 110 of the Acts of 1894. "
