Leave was granted to the Dorchester county delegation
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 41
and sections thereafter to section 83, but inclusive of
section 83, of Article 10, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Dorchester County, ' sub-title 'Cambridge, '
and all other sections thereunder, and in the place and
stead, substitute certain sections. "
On motion of Mr. Staley.
Leave was granted to the Committee on Education to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
section 3, of chapter 136, of the Acts of 1896, entitled an
Act to repeal sections 59, 60 and 61, of Article 77, of the
Code of Public General Laws of the State of Maryland,
title 'Public Education, ' and to re-enact the same with
amendments. "
On motion of Mr. Gibson,
Leave was granted to the Calvert county delegation,
and Mr. Wolf to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to re-
peal and re-enact with amendments, section 43 of Article
5, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
'Calvert County, ' sub-title 'Clerk' and to re-enact the
same with amendment. "
On motion of Mr. Feldmeyer,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to add a new section
to Article 2 of the Code of Public Laws, title 'Anne
Arundel County, ' sub-title 'Gas Companies, ' to follow
section 165, and to be numbered 165 A. "
On motion of Mr. Smith,
Leave was granted to the Queen Anne's delegation to
introduce a bill providing for the selecting and drawing
and summoning jurors for Queen Anne's county"
On motion of Mr. Latrobe,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore city delegation to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to authorize the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore to issue its certificates of
stock to an amount not exceeding $5, 000, 000, for the pur-
pose of providing the money to pay at the time of doing
the work, the portion of the costs and expenses of grad-
