On motion of Mr. Graeff,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to extend an Act en-
titled an Act to incorporate the New York Mining Com-
pany, passed at December session, 1844, chapter 220,
and the supplement thereto, passed at December session,
1846, chapter 123, and the Act to alter and amend the
said original Act of incorporation and supplements
thereto, passed at January session, 1853, chapter 70, and
the Act to alter, amend and extend the said original Act
of incorporation and the supplements thereto, passed at
January session, 1874-, chapter 110, for the period of
thirty years. "
On motion of Mr. Stewart,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to give and declare
the sanction and consent of the General Assembly of
Maryland to the bequest of five thousand dollars to the
Vestry of St. John's Parish, in Baltimore and Harford
counties, contained in the will of Elizabeth Emma Bose,
of Baltimore city, deceased. "
On motion of Mr. Walsh,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
chapter 501, of the Acts of 1898, in relation to affidavits
to mortgages.
On motion of Mr. Martenet,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Hygiene to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to regulate and place
under proper restrictions, within the city of Baltimore,
the consumption and use of oleomargarine, butterine or
other substance made in imitation of butter. "
On motion of Mr. Duncan,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to add an additional
section to Article 21, of the Code of Public General Laws
of Maryland, title ' Conveyancing, ' to follow section 85,
and to be designated as ' Section 85 A. '"
On motion of Mr. Garner,
Leave was granted to the St. Mary's county delegation,
and Mr. Hanson, of Howard, to introduce a bill entitled
