Gentlemen of the Senate:

We have received your message proposing that all
bills and leaves to introduce bills to sanction bequests,
devises, sales, gifts or conveyances to religious or chari-
table objects, be referred to the Committee on Judicial
Proceedings, and the. Committee on Judiciary of the re-
spective Houses, and the said Committees be instructed
to report on March 13, 1900, a general bill embracing all
such bills and leaves, except where there is special rea-
son for more speedy action, in which case separate bills
may be introduced, and we concur therein.

session 1898, chapter 259, entitled 'An Act to incorporate
the Real Estate Trust Company, ' so that the corporate
title of the said corporation shall hereafter be Colonial
Trust Company. "
