Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:
We have received your message requesting the Senate
to recede from its amendment to House bill No. 232, en-
titled "An Act to authorize and empower the County
. Commissioners of Baltimore county to change the grade
of the public road in the Thirteenth district of said
county, commonly known as the ' Washington Turnpike
Road. '" We respectfully inform you that the Senate
adheres to its amendments, and proposes, with your con-
currence, the appointment of a Joint Committee of Con-
ference on the disagreeing votes of the two Houses.
We have named on the part of the Senate Messrs.
Hubner, Crothers and Williams, of Anne Arundel.
We herewith return said bill.

Gentlemen of the Senate:
We have received your message proposing the appoint-
ment of a Joint Committee of Conference on the disa-
greeing votes of the two Houses on the bill
Entitled "An Act to authorize and empower the County
Commissioners of Baltimore county to change the grade
of public road in the Thirteenth district of said county,
commonly known as the "Washington Turnpike Road, "
at and near the place where the same crosses; the Balti-
more and Potomac Railroad at grade, for the purpose of
doing away with such grade crossing, and to provide for
the construction of the bridge or bridges that may bo
made necessary thereby, " and respectfully inform you
that we concur therein.
