to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 188
of Article 16, of the Code of Public General Laws, enti-
tled 'Chancery, ' sub-title 'Sales, ' as amended by Acts of
1890, chapter 320, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments. "
On motion of Mr. Scrimger,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore city delegation to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
section 505, of chapter 123, of the Acts passed January
Session, 1898. "
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Railroads and
Canals to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to add a new
section to Article 23 of the Code of Public General Laws,
title 'Corporations, ' sub-title 'Railroads, ' to follow section
177, and to be designated as section 177 A. "
On motion of Mr: Walsh,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill to extend the privileges, enlarge the
powers and amend the charter of the George W. Albaugh
Real Estate and Brokerage Company of Carroll county,
Maryland, so as to enable it to loan money on or purchase
promissory notes and negotiable notes, bills, obligations
or other evidences of debt.
On motion of Mr. Knott,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 1, 2, 3,
10, 16, 17, 21, 31, 32 and 37, of Article 59 of the Code of
Public General Laws, title 'Lunatics and Insane, ' and to
re-enact the same with amendments; and to add three
new sub-sections to said Article, to follow sections 38,
and to be designated as sections 3'9, 40 and 21. "
On motion of Mr. Wolfinger,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Education to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 44,
48, 49 and 53, of Article 77, of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws, title 'Public Education, ' and to re-enact the
same with amendments, and to add new sections thereto
to be known as sections 18 A and 49 A, to follow sec-
tions 18 and 49, respectively, of said Article. "
