Also, unfavorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to provide for the publi-
cation by the State Board of Public Works of lar#e scale
geographical, and physical maps of Maryland, for use in
the public schools of the State, and to make an appropri-
ation therefor. "

Which unfavorable report was adopted.

Mr. Staley, from the Committee on Education, report-
ed favorably, with recommendation that same be sent to
the Committee on Ways and Means,

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments, section 100 of Article 77, of the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland, title 'Public Educa-
tion, ' sub-title 'Sources of Income, ' as re-enacted by chap-
ter 285 of the Acts of 1894. "

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Ways arid Means.

Mr. Latrobe, from Committee on Ways and Means, re-
ported favorably,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to authorize the Mayor
and Aldermen of the city of Annapolis, to issue bonds to the
amount of $121, 000 to pay off the present floating indebt-
edness of the city of Annapolis and to provide a fund for
the permanent improvement of the city. "

Which was read a second time.

Mr. Lehmayer, from the Judiciary Committee, reported
favorably,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 3 of
chapter 704, of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, of the session of 1892, entitled "An Act to
provide for the assessment and collection cf a tax upon
distilled spirits, and to re-enact said section 3, so as to
read as follows: "And also to add an additional section to
said chapter 704, to be known as 'Section 12. ' "

Which was read a second time.

money to be placed to the credit of the Oyster fund for
