On motion of Mr. Satterfield, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Lednum be excused from this ses-
sion on account of important business.

On motion of Mr. Kimble, it was

Ordered, That the Superintendent of the Building, be
authorized to place a screen back of the Cecil county
delegation to protect them from the draft.

Mr. Satterfield submitted the following order:

Ordered, That all the screens have windows put in
them for the convenience of the public.

Mr. Krems submitted the following order:

Ordered, That the Chairman of the Committee on
Claims adjust and order paid the following persons for
services, viz: Henry Hebron, Wm. Parker, Richard
Turner, Asbury Stepney, Wm. Simms, Wm. Pinkney,
Wm. E. Medford and Henry Campbell.

Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Claims.

The Speaker announced that he had placed Mr. Sim-
mons of Calvert, on the Committee on Cheasapeake Bay
and Tributaries, in place of Mr. Gibson, and Mr. Gibson
on the Committee on Internal Improvements, in place of
Mr. Simmons.
